SHOLA MEDICAL CENTRE is a registered healthcare provider that is situated in Igbogbo, Ikorodu in Lagos state, Nigeria. It is a small 10 bedded medical facility that is mostly into family medicine practise.

SMC was established by Dr Olushola Olalude in 1999 October, because of the need to bring modern medical services closer to the rural populace of Igbogbo and it’s environ which comprises of smaller towns like OFFIN, ORETA, BAIYEKU and AGUNFOYE etc. These were areas that were hitherto without any orthodox medicine presence at all, these areas were also associated with poor hygiene, high infant and maternal mortality etc. Medical and Surgical emergencies would need to be taken long distance even for ordinary first aid. With the establishment of SMC we were able to provide basic, primary care medical services to the community and it’s environ.

SMC was started in a small three bedroom apartment with only two beds for admission in 1999, thankfully we have expanded our services and now occupy a storey building on a major road in the town, the practise now has its own diagnostic centre and an ultrasound scanning centre which are highly patronised by the community.

SMC is committed to quality care that not only addresses the illness but also concentrates on the overall wellness of the patients. We are primarily focused around Igbogbo in Ikorodu Local Government Area, we are well known as the area’s key healthcare provider in the private sector.
